The MOOD project hosted an engaging Mini Module for the EPIET Alumni Network (EAN) during the ESCAIDE week (European Scientific Conference on Applied Infectious Disease Epidemiology) in Stockholm bringing together epidemiology experts to explore the MOOD platform’s tools and discuss their applications in surveillance and public health response.
Participants gained hands-on experience with MOOD’s innovative tools, including the PADI-web platform for event-based surveillance (EBS). The highly interactive session featured infectious disease case studies and meaningful discussions on leveraging big data and the One Health approach, integrating human, animal, and environmental health.
