MOOD’s WP3 organizes three days dedicated to Text Mining techniques for Epidemic Intelligence hosted by INESC-ID in the heart of Lisboa (Portugal).The seminar will include an overview of all text mining activities conducted by WP2 and WP3 within MOOD, followed by a series of scientific presentations from MOOD PhD and postdoctoral researchers, as well as MSc students.
The webinar will also be the opportunity to brainstorm on research topics – such as quality (source, content, etc..), thematic entity recognition, spatial entity recognition and social media analysis. MOOD partners involved in the text mining activities will also discuss links of heterogeneous sources and how to link covariates and disease data.
